Andrea L. Donaldson is the Executive Vice President of Retirement Plans for MSH Capital Advisors LLC and is registered with M.S. Howells & Co.
Andrea began her career in 1998 at a local Third Party Administration firm in Valley. She quickly developed a passion for retirement plans and recognized the benefit and value they bring to business owners and their employees. Over the years, Andrea gained extensive experience in the field, working at several companies and taking on progressive roles and responsibilities relating to Retirement Planning services. She finds it an honor to help people save for their retirement and understands the importance of retirement plans in providing financial security for individuals.
As the EVP of Retirement Plans with MSH Capital Advisors, Andrea brings a deep knowledge of retirement plan services to clients. She guides them in various aspects of retirement planning, including plan governance, investments, plan design, administration, and operational responsibilities. Her goal is to help clients run an efficient, compliant, and meaningful retirement plan program.
Andrea specializes in company-sponsored retirement plans, including 401(k), 403(b), Profit Sharing, Defined Benefit, Cash Balance, NQDC (Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation), and 457 plans. She possesses a comprehensive understanding of these plan types based on her background and can provide tailored guidance based on her client’s specific needs and goals.
Andrea holds Series 6, 63, and 65 securities licenses and the AIF®* and CPFA®** designations
* The Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation represents a thorough knowledge of and ability to apply the fiduciary practices. Through fi360′s AIF® Training programs, AIF® designees learn the Practices and the legal and best practice framework they are built upon. AIF® designees have a reputation in the industry for the ability to implement a prudent process into their own investment practices as well as being able to assist others in implementing proper policies and procedures.
** The Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor® (CPFA®) designation is granted by the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA®). CPFA® candidates must pass a proctored exam to achieve this designation. The coursework for the CPFA® certification is specific to retirement plan advising and includes topics such as plan design, fiduciary responsibilities, investment selection and compliance. CPFA® certifications focus on advising fiduciaries of retirement plans. To keep the designation, the candidate must complete 10 hours of continuing education.
